At campaign rallies in North Carolina and Virginia, former president and Republican Party frontrunner Donald Trump accused President Joe Biden of weakening border security policies to carry out the latter’s agenda of transforming the huge wave of migrants coming into the United States into American voters who’d favor the Democratic candidates – a conspiracy to overthrow the nation.
In the NC rally, he said that Biden’s policies are excessively permissive, an obvious strategy to increase the number of Democratic voters by allowing migrants to enter the U.S. illegally from the southern border. The former president argued this is an agenda to “collapse the American system” and “nullify the will of the actual American voters,” creating a new power base for Democrats that would ensure their control for generations.
During the following event in Virginia, he also accused the White House of attempting to register migrants to vote in upcoming elections and providing “aid and comfort to foreign enemies of the United States” through his border security measures.
The 45th POTUS currently winning his reelection bid said that he was with Texas Governor Gregg Abbott a couple of days back, checking on the U.S.-Mexico border. He said that the state law enforcement caught illegal border crossers from Congo and when asked where in the African nation they were from, one answered he came from the prison. He was jailed for murder. Trump was adamant about stopping the invasion because the migrants that are gushing in are not from unknown origins; they could be criminals and gangs running away from their countries’ laws of the land.
He reminded his supporters how three years ago, America had the safest and most secure border. “We had the best border in the history of the United States. We built a 571-mile-border and asked Mexico to send 28,000 soldiers to guard it, free of charge.” But as soon as Biden assumed office, all his policies were abolished. He further condemned Biden’s justice system for stopping Texas from defending its state by securing the border. “Nobody has done destruction to our country except this incompetent president,” he said referring to Biden. In response to Trump’s allegations, Biden’s campaign highlighted a recent incident where Trump encouraged Republicans to reject a border security bill in Congress, which Biden’s team described as the “fairest and toughest border security bill in decades.” Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for Biden, in turn, criticized Trump for projecting and attempting to distract from his own actions, which they believe undermined effective border security measures.
During the recently concluded Super Tuesday, the biggest primary day of the year, Trump revealed how Biden approved a program that allowed the import of 320,000 undocumented immigrants directly to U.S. airports. The revelation came on the heels of the release of a Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) report that called out lawyers for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for refusing to disclose the departure and arrival airports of these flights last year.
“Today, it was announced that 325,000 people were flown in from parts unknown. Migrants were flown in. Airplane – not going through borders,” Trump said. “Not going through that great Texas barrier that I was with the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott the other day and we were looking at the job they’re doing.”
He added that what Biden’s regime did tells they want open borders. “Open borders are going to destroy our country. We need borders and we need free and fair elections,” he said.
Meanwhile, Biden’s administration admitted transporting migrants on secret flights into the U.S., and lawyers for CBP revealed the locations could create national security “vulnerabilities.” The measure is rooted in the administration’s expansion of the “CBP One” app, which last year allowed foreign nationals from several countries south of the U.S. to apply for asylum online rather than travel to the border.
Illegal immigrants who cannot legally enter the U.S. used the mentioned mobile app to apply for travel authorization and temporary humanitarian release from those unnamed airports. Under this parole release, migrants can remain in the U.S. for two years without obtaining legal status and meanwhile are eligible for work authorization.
Big Tech mogul Elon Musk echoed Trump’s sentiments and posted on X, formerly Twitter, the CIS revelations through their Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Biden administration. He said the program is a way for Democrats to bring in more voters who rely on left-leaning policies and programs like the “CBP One” app. “This administration is both importing voters and creating a national security threat from unvetted illegal immigrants,” Musk wrote. “It is highly probable that the groundwork is being laid for something far worse than 9/11. Just a matter of time.”
